⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: The $3.00 Account Activation Fee is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. By completing the payment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy in full.

1. Introduction

This Account Activation Fee Policy governs the one-time, non-refundable fee charged by Gigs Micro to activate user accounts on our platform (gigsmicro.com). By registering on Gigs Micro and completing the account activation payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.

2. What is the Account Activation Fee?

To maintain the quality, security, and integrity of the Gigs Micro platform, all new users are required to pay a one-time Account Activation Fee of USD $3.00 (Three US Dollars). This fee is charged once during the registration process and is required before your account is granted full access to the Gigs Micro platform.

3. Purpose of the Activation Fee

The Account Activation Fee serves the following important purposes:

To verify the authenticity and seriousness of new users on the platform.
To prevent spam accounts, bots, and fraudulent registrations.
To maintain a high-quality, professional community of freelancers and buyers.
To cover administrative and operational costs associated with account setup, identity verification, and platform maintenance.
To ensure that all active members are committed to using the platform responsibly.

4. Non-Refundable Policy

The $3.00 Account Activation Fee is strictly and permanently non-refundable. The fee will NOT be refunded in the following cases:

If you decide not to use your account after activation.
If your account is suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service, Bid Policy, or any other platform policies.
If you are dissatisfied with the platform or its services.
Due to inactivity or failure to complete your profile.
In the event of accidental duplicate payments — however, any duplicate payments will be credited to your account balance.
Under any claims of not being informed, as this policy is clearly displayed during the registration process.

By proceeding with the payment, you explicitly acknowledge and accept the non-refundable nature of this fee.

5. When is the Fee Charged?

The Account Activation Fee of $3.00 is charged:

During the account registration process — before full access is granted.
Through our secure payment gateway — your payment info is never stored on our servers.
Your account is activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation.

6. What You Receive Upon Activation

Upon successful payment of the $3.00 activation fee, you will receive:

Full access to your Gigs Micro account.
Ability to create and manage your freelancer or buyer profile.
Access to browse and bid on available jobs (freelancers).
Ability to post jobs and hire freelancers (buyers).
Access to the Gigs Micro messaging and project management system.
Eligibility to participate in all platform features and activities.

7. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

Refund requests will only be considered in the following very limited cases:

Technical Error: If a verified technical error on our platform caused the payment to fail but the amount was still deducted from your payment method. Evidence of the transaction error must be submitted within 7 days.

Duplicate Charge: If you were charged more than once for the same account activation due to a system error. Only the duplicate amount will be refunded; the original $3.00 activation fee remains non-refundable.

All exception requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date to gigsmicrohelp@gmail.com with supporting evidence. Gigs Micro reserves the sole right to determine whether a refund qualifies as an exception.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a user initiates an unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute regarding the $3.00 activation fee:

The associated Gigs Micro account will be immediately and permanently suspended.
The user will be permanently banned from creating new accounts on the platform.
Gigs Micro reserves the right to take legal action to recover the disputed amount plus any associated fees and damages.
The user will be responsible for all costs incurred by Gigs Micro including bank fees and legal costs.

9. Legal Compliance & Governing Law

This policy is legally binding and forms part of the Gigs Micro Terms of Service. By making the activation payment, you confirm that:

You are 18 years of age or older.
You have the legal authority to make this payment.
You have read and understood this Non-Refundable Fee Policy.
You voluntarily agree to all the terms stated herein.

This policy is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

10. Changes to This Policy

Gigs Micro reserves the right to modify this Account Activation Fee Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes will not apply retroactively to users who have already paid the activation fee under previous terms. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
